The introduction of Samsung’s latest patently mobile is certainly going to change the scenario of the tech world shortly. Although some experts have opined that it would be tough to make such observations so early when a market has other tech giants such as Apple, Microsoft but the management of Samsung is quite sure about the success of their latest addition to the tech-world.
Patented by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, this exotic smartphone designed has been based on a metal roll frame with a slide out flexible display facility. In simpler terms, it will make the display livelier and give a real feel to the viewers. The basic design has been used in various Sci-Fi related TV shows that include Earth Final Conflict.
Its flexible display facility accompanied with organic light-emitting display makes it different from any other mobile phones that are available in today’s market. Organic light-emitting displays offer a phone to have superior characteristics such as wide angle view, excellent contrast and power consumption reduction. Titled as “Interesting Samsung Smartphone Concept From Factors Surface In Patent Filing”, this facility gives an edge to the scroll styled Smartphone, and it is quite evident that Samsung is quite serious about this matter and going launch many other installations in the upcoming days.
This new design ideal for the portable devices such as MP3 Players, Phones & Televisions. It doesn’t require any additional light on the display of the phone. A separate flexible display panel inside the body helps to maintain a flexible display.
The body itself has different layers and features. There is two different electrode layer spaced apart from each other. There is an actuator on the first surface of the flexible display panel. The actuator, lies between the first electrode layer and second electrode layer, also includes an electroactive polymer layer.
This electroactive polymer layer changes its position whenever any heat been added to it. The injection of additional voltage makes the size of the area increased which eventually helps to provide support for the contacts side walls.
Originally filed in Q4 in 2012 by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, this patent is completely based on the mechanics of the design. Samsung is claiming that this latest design is beyond any Galaxy smartphones available in today’s market.
